How we compare social media tools for founders
A founder needs five things from a social media tool: a price that fits one person, the platforms you post to, your voice in the drafts, a check before a post goes out and some help with when to post.
Each of the 15 tools is read on its own pages, dated, and filled into the same rows. Nothing is scored or ranked.

The five things we check
A price that fits one person
What the cheapest paid plan costs, what it charges by (brand, channel, account or seat) and whether the trial needs a card. A tool priced per seat charges a solo founder for a team they don't have.
Starting price · Free trial · Posts a month
The platforms you post to
X and LinkedIn first, because that is where founders write in public. Then the networks your buyers use. A tool that skips one of yours is out, whatever else it does well.
Platforms you can post to · A version per platform
Your voice in the draft
Whether the tool learns how you write from your website or your past posts, or leaves you to describe the tone every time you ask.

A check before it goes out
Whether a draft is checked against how you write before you see it, so a post that sounds like a template doesn't reach your audience.
A check on every draft
Help with when and where
Best times from your own history, posts that repeat or follow up on their own, and whether you can run the tool from an AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Best times to post · A time zone per brand · After a post goes out · AI apps (MCP)
What a solo founder doesn't need
Team approvals, client workspaces, white-label reports and an API matter to agencies and teams. They are in the full comparison for each tool and we leave them out of the criteria here.
What we don't do
No scores or stars
A score hides the row that decides a choice. We show what each tool says, row by row, in its own words.
No ranking
The tools are in alphabetical order. Buzzmark is one of the 15 and sits where its name falls. Where it loses, its entry says so.
No fact without a date
Every tool's facts were read on its own pages on the date next to its name. The oldest read is September 30, 2026 and the next re-read is due by December 30, 2026.
Who writes this
Piik Labs AB, registered in Sweden (organisation number 559577-8506, Box 691, 414 52 Göteborg, Sweden), makes Buzzmark and publishes this guide.
We read each tool's pages ourselves and date every read. A wrong fact: write to hello@buzzmark.ai and we correct it.
